Chest

Place the tape under the sleeve joints on the edge & measure across the other end.

Stomach

Place the tape on the edge of the narrowest point & measure across the other end.

Hips

Place the tape on the edge of the bottom & measure across the other end.

Shoulder

Place the tape on the joint of the shoulder & centre crease of the sleeve, and measure across the other end.

Front Length

Place the tape on the joint of the shoulder & front (under the collar) & measure straight down till the end.

Arm Cross

Place the tape at the junction of the shoulder & centre crease of the sleeve, & measure (curved tape) till the sleeve joint.

Arm Straight

6 inch from the edge of the shoulder, measure the sleeve width as shown keeping the tape parallel to the cuff(This is measured on any shirt you have and not body)

Long Sleeve

Place the tape on the joint of the shoulder & centre crease of the sleeve, & measure straight till the cuff.

Long Sleeve Cuff

Measure the cuff straight from edge to edge.

Short Sleeve

Place the tape on the joint of the shoulder & centre crease of the sleeve, & measure till the end.

Short Sleeve Opening

Measure across the edge of the sleeve as show.

Collar

Place the tape on centre point of button, measure straight till centre of button hole.

1. You don't have to be a professional to take the measurements. It takes about 10 minutes to complete. And dont worry if some numbers are off we have experience and algorithms to correct it.

2. You would need a tailors measuring tape with inch as its unit of measure. If you don't have it handy, you can download by clicking here. Measurements should be rounded to the nearest quarter (0.25 inch).

3. Would be better if you wear a fitted inner shirt while being measured. We will add allowance / loosing to your shirt based on your body posture.

4. How a particular measurement is done is shown graphically using a sketch image and detailed description.
